Every Wednesday, when our jazz jam takes over Alfie's Stage & Bar, something special happens. Musicians arrive with their instruments, the baby grand piano gets tuned, and before you know it, the room transforms into what feels like a proper New York jazz club transplanted to Greek Street. We've kept the space deliberately intimate, with plush velvet seating and richly styled sofas arranged around low coffee tables where your guests can settle in with cocktails. The room holds 130 standing or 100 seated, though most events find their own rhythm between the two. Dark green tiles line our bar, where we mix everything from classic whisky sours to our Soho Martini, which regulars insist tastes better here than anywhere else in London. The stage anchors the room, complete with that baby grand piano and a full PA system ready for whatever your event requires. We've hosted product launches where CEOs gave presentations before surprising guests with a jazz quartet, birthday parties that turned into singalongs around the piano, and cocktail receptions where deals were sealed between sets. The projector works brilliantly for corporate presentations, though most groups end up using it to share photos as the night progresses. Local artists' work covers our walls, changing regularly enough that repeat visitors always find something new to discuss. The pendant lights cast just the right glow, warm enough for conversation but bright enough to read a menu. Our kitchen handles everything from canapés to three-course dinners, with vegan and gluten-free options that actually taste like food you'd choose to eat. Being steps from Tottenham Court Road Station means your guests arrive easily, and our late license means they can stay until the conversation naturally winds down.
