Walking through the wooden gates into our Lakeside Pavilion feels like discovering a secret garden where celebrations come alive. Since we opened this special space in 2016, countless couples have said their vows beneath the timber beams of our charming wooden structure, with the lake creating perfect reflections of their joy. The pavilion sits within 15 acres of parkland, where mature trees frame views across the water and our ornamental fountain catches the afternoon light beautifully. We've dressed the pathway with white-covered chairs and soft pink sashes, creating an aisle that photographers absolutely love. The natural acoustics here are remarkable, whether you're exchanging vows or making speeches, every word carries clearly across the water. Our wooden pavilion comfortably hosts 150 guests for drinks receptions or 120 for seated dining. We've found the space works brilliantly for everything from wedding ceremonies to milestone birthdays and corporate celebrations. The open sides mean you're surrounded by nature while still having proper cover overhead, and we've installed a reliable PA system that handles everything from background music to live bands. Being just ten minutes from Bath city centre means your guests can easily find us, yet once they arrive, the seclusion is complete. We've got plenty of parking, and the level pathways make access straightforward for everyone. The lakeside setting does something magical at different times of day, morning ceremonies have this fresh, dewy quality, while evening celebrations catch the golden hour perfectly across the water. Our grounds offer endless spots for photographs, from the fountain plaza to quiet corners by the water's edge. We work with brilliant local caterers who know exactly how to make the most of outdoor dining, or you're welcome to bring your own.
