Our Conference Floor transforms a Victorian silk mill's upper story into an inspiring event space where original oak beams stretch across exposed red brick walls. This 1,722 square foot room brings together Manchester's industrial past with your celebration's future, creating an atmosphere that feels both grand and intimate. Natural light pours through the skylights and large windows throughout the day, playing across the recycled floorboards that have witnessed over a century of Manchester's history. We've found this combination of height, light and texture creates exactly the right mood for wedding receptions, birthday parties and corporate celebrations alike. The space comfortably holds 100 guests for standing receptions, while cabaret-style seating works beautifully for 80 people when you want everyone gathered around tables. The room's flexibility means we can configure it exactly as you envision. For cocktail parties, the open floor plan encourages mingling while the brick walls provide natural conversation corners. When you're planning a seated dinner, the warm wood tones and industrial features create an unforgettable backdrop for speeches and toasts. We've equipped the space with an HDMI projector and sound system, perfect for displaying photos, videos or presentations during your event. Living plants scattered throughout soften the industrial edges, while our staffed bar keeps drinks flowing from arrival through to last orders. The heritage features, from the weathered bricks to the solid oak overhead, photograph beautifully in both daylight and evening ambiance.
