Our wood-paneled pub has been hosting parties on Stoke Newington Church Street for nearly 25 years, and the Basement Venue beneath our feet is where countless celebrations have come to life. This underground space wraps you in warmth the moment you descend the stairs, with brown leather banquette seating hugging the walls and creating natural conversation corners for your guests. We can accommodate up to 100 people standing or 50 seated for dining, and the space adapts brilliantly to whatever atmosphere you're after. Those plush banquettes have seen everything from 21st birthdays to corporate away days, and the circular mirrors dotting the walls catch the ambient lighting just right, giving the whole room a glow that photographs beautifully. The sound system down here is the same one touring bands use every weekend, so whether you're bringing your own DJ or creating a playlist, the acoustics deliver. We've also got a large projector screen that works equally well for wedding slideshows or company presentations, plus reliable Wi-Fi throughout. Our kitchen serves locally sourced British cuisine six days a week, and we create custom menus for private events that showcase what we do best.
