Perched above the bustle of St Bart's Brewery, The Mezzanine has become our favourite spot for those who want their event to feel a bit more personal. We've watched this L-shaped space transform from morning business meetings to evening cocktail parties, and it never fails to create the right atmosphere. The exposed brick walls tell the story of the building's Victorian past, while our wooden tables and plush seating make everyone feel at home. Natural light pours through the large windows during the day, catching the colourful cushions we've scattered about, and come evening, the soft lighting creates just the right mood for celebrations. Our events team takes particular pride in the floral arrangements we refresh regularly, adding that extra touch without going overboard. With room for 60 guests standing or 40 seated, we've found The Mezzanine works brilliantly for everything from product launches to milestone birthdays. The PA system handles speeches and background music with equal ease, while our air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable year-round. Many clients love combining The Mezzanine with the adjoining Balfour Bar, giving their guests a dedicated space for pre-dinner drinks or post-party nightcaps. The Smithfield Market location adds its own character, with the historic market halls providing a backdrop that photographs beautifully.
