Our Private Space tucks itself away from the main pub bustle, offering your group an exclusive corner of this 16th-century building. Timber beams stretch overhead while exposed brickwork and rustic wooden furnishings create that authentic Manchester pub feel your guests will love. Natural light pours through the original multi-paned windows during daytime celebrations, while come evening, our classic chandelier casts a warm glow across the wooden tables below. We can accommodate up to 50 guests, whether you're planning a sit-down birthday dinner or drinks reception. The flexible layout means we can arrange tables for formal dining or clear the floor for mingling, depending on what your celebration needs. Those ancient beams have witnessed countless parties over the centuries, and the character they bring beats any modern function room hands down. Being right in Shambles Square puts you at the heart of Manchester, with the Cathedral practically on our doorstep.
