The rustic beams overhead tell the story of this first-floor dining space, where 120 guests can gather for receptions or 65 can sit down to a proper meal. We've arranged reclaimed wood tables throughout the room, each piece salvaged from Sheffield demolition sites and given new life up here above our production kitchen. Natural light pours through the windows during daytime events, catching the texture of the sandblasted original trusses that frame the space. The flexible layout means we can shift tables around depending on what you need - corporate teams often request theatre-style seating for their presentations using our AV setup, while wedding parties prefer long banquet arrangements that encourage conversation. Being directly above our kitchen changes everything about how we serve food. Your guests smell the bread baking in our ovens below, and our chefs can time each course perfectly without the usual venue logistics. We grow herbs and edible flowers in the beds outside, picking them fresh for garnishes and salads. The menu adapts to what local suppliers bring us each week, though our Sheffield cheese selection remains a constant that regular clients specifically request. The space handles different moods naturally. Morning light creates an energetic atmosphere for business meetings, while evening events benefit from the warm glow against the wooden surfaces. We can clear a section for dancing if your celebration calls for it, or maintain the full dining layout for more formal occasions. You'll find us at 54 Staniforth Road in Attercliffe, with free parking spaces right outside. The solar panels on our roof power most of the building these days, including the electric vans we use for catering deliveries. Every sustainable choice, from the reclaimed furniture to the storm-damaged wood in our bannister, reflects how we approach hospitality - making good use of what we have while creating memorable experiences for Sheffield's gatherings.
