The Basement Bar descends beneath the bustling streets of Cornhill into an atmospheric retreat where exposed brick meets polished wood. Our private space transforms throughout the evening, from afternoon networking sessions where professionals gather around high-top tables to late-night celebrations where the dance floor comes alive under ambient lighting. Walking down to our basement level, you'll find a fully equipped bar running along one wall, its polished counter reflecting the warm glow from carefully positioned lights. Behind it, our bartenders work with an extensive collection of spirits, draught beers, wines and cocktails. The wooden flooring adds warmth to the space, while our flexible layout means we can configure the room exactly as you need it. Corner booths provide intimate spaces for conversation, whilst the open floor accommodates up to 200 guests for standing receptions or 110 for seated dinners. Our kitchen team crafts everything from substantial buffets to elegant three-course meals, with menus we'll tailor specifically to your event.
