South London's biggest beer garden spans right behind our pub, and when we say big, we mean 500 people big. The Garden Area transforms throughout the day, from afternoon sun-seekers spreading across our wooden picnic tables to evening party crowds gathering under the yellow umbrellas while fairy lights twinkle overhead. Our outdoor bars keep the drinks flowing from both ends of the garden, no queuing necessary when your group gets thirsty. The BBQ kitchen sends smoke signals of grilled favorites across the space, while ivy and sunflowers wrap around the wooden beams above, softening all those hard edges. We've installed proper heating throughout and covered sections too, because we know British weather doesn't always cooperate with party plans. The layout works brilliantly for different group dynamics. Some guests cluster around the standing areas near the bars, others claim entire picnic tables for their crew, and the covered zones become natural gathering spots when conversations get going. Multiple TV screens dot the space for match days, positioned so everyone gets a view whether they're seated or standing. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with Brixton Station just minutes away and the Academy practically next door. We've made sure everyone can enjoy the space too, with level access throughout, accessible toilets, and plenty of room to move around even when we're at full capacity.
