Perched on the first floor of BOXPARK Croydon, our Outdoor Terrace transforms what could be just another rooftop into a proper urban garden. We've draped the space with trailing ivy and hanging plants, creating pockets of greenery that soften the industrial containers below. The artificial grass underfoot and wooden picnic tables give it that festival feel, while the retractable canopy means British weather won't spoil your plans. The terrace comfortably hosts 150 guests for standing receptions or 80 for seated dining along our colourful communal tables. We designed the layout to encourage mingling, with the long benches naturally bringing people together while still leaving plenty of room to move about. The private bar tucked into the corner keeps the drinks flowing without your guests having to venture downstairs, and our bartenders know how to keep up with a thirsty crowd. For corporate events, we regularly see companies using the space for summer parties and team celebrations. The large flatscreen TVs work brilliantly for presentations or screening big matches, and when furniture's cleared, we've hosted everything from product launches to dance-offs. You're welcome to bring your own DJ, and our sound system handles whatever playlist or live music you throw at it. The beauty of being right above East Croydon Station (literally a two-minute walk) means your guests can pop down from Central London in 15 minutes. Our food vendors below serve everything throughout your event, from South Asian street food to Latin American grills, so catering becomes an adventure in itself. The terrace catches the afternoon sun beautifully, and when evening falls, the ambient lighting creates an intimate atmosphere that works equally well for birthday celebrations or networking events.
