Our 96 shipping containers might look industrial from the outside, but step through BOXPARK Croydon's entrance and you'll find yourself in a buzzing market hall where the energy hits you before the food aromas do. We're right next to East Croydon Station at 99 George Street, making us easy to reach whether you're coming from Central London (just 15 minutes from London Bridge or Victoria) or Brighton. When we designed this space, we took inspiration from Covent Garden Piazza but gave it our own twist. The semi-enclosed layout means you get that open-air market feel without worrying about the British weather. We can accommodate over 2,000 people across our different areas, from the main hall with its mix of food vendors to our outdoor terrace where guests tend to gravitate when the sun's out. Our food vendors reflect South London's diversity - you'll find everything from South Asian street food to African grills, European favorites to Latin American specialties. We've made sure there's something for everyone, including plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. The multiple bars scattered throughout mean no one has to wait long for a drink during busy events. For private parties, our BeatBox event space really comes into its own. We've invested in a proper sound system that can handle everything from acoustic sets to full DJ performances, and there's a dedicated private bar so your guests aren't queuing with the general crowd. The space works brilliantly for corporate events during the day too - we regularly transform it for product launches and company celebrations. Throughout the week, we host live music, comedy nights, art exhibitions, and screen major sports events. The atmosphere shifts with each event, but the containers create natural zones where different groups can enjoy their own vibe while still being part of the bigger picture.
