The Half Venue wraps around one side of our historic Fermentation Buildings, where the original brick archways frame gatherings of 30 to 60 guests. We've preserved the industrial bones of this Finzels Reach landmark while creating distinct zones with our reclaimed wood tables and aged leather Chesterfields, giving your party natural conversation spots and mingling areas. Our self-service Enomatic machines take centre stage here, their illuminated displays showcasing 64 wines kept at perfect serving temperatures. Your guests can pour their own tastings throughout the evening, comparing a crisp Loire Valley white with a robust Rioja, all while our knowledgeable team shares stories about the vineyards and winemakers. The fully stocked bar runs along the exposed brick wall, where vintage filament bulbs cast a warm glow over the copper fixtures. We configure the space differently for each event. Corporate networking flows naturally between the leather sofas and high tables, while birthday celebrations often cluster around the central dining area where 40 can sit comfortably for dinner. The large windows overlooking the courtyard flood the room with natural light during afternoon gatherings, transitioning beautifully as evening approaches and the ambient lighting takes over.
