The wooden floors creak slightly as you climb between our two floors at Number 8 Cocktail Bar, each level offering its own personality for your party. We've taken over this corner spot on Stonegate Road in Meanwood since 2021, and every weekend we watch groups transform both spaces into their own private playground. Downstairs, our main bar wraps around exposed brick walls where pendant lights cast warm shadows across rustic wooden tables. The teal-fronted bar stocks everything from small-batch gins to local craft beers, and our bartenders know their way around both classic cocktails and our house creations. When our resident DJs set up on weekends, the whole floor pulses with energy. Those bifold doors we installed? They fold right back, connecting the indoor space with our outdoor seating area where guests spill out between rounds. Head upstairs and the mood shifts. Floral wallpaper meets more exposed brick, while our vintage KEF hi-fi system sits ready for your playlist. The slate bed pool table dominates one corner, though we'll happily clear space for beer pong or table tennis if that's more your speed. Plush seating fills the rest of the room, creating pockets where conversations flow as easily as the drinks. We can accommodate 60 guests across both floors, or you can hire them separately depending on your group size. Niko's Comfort Kitchen keeps everyone fed with smash burgers, wings, and proper Sunday roasts, plus vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Our bespoke events bar means we'll stock whatever your group prefers. The beauty of hiring the entire venue is flexibility. Birthday parties, work celebrations, engagement drinks, we've hosted them all. Located just off the main drag in Meanwood with parking nearby, we're easy to find but tucked away enough to feel like your own private bar for the night.
