Three American pool tables catch the late afternoon light as you enter The Gallery, their green felt surfaces ready for competition. We've designed this space specifically for groups who want something different from their Cardiff party, combining classic games with a social atmosphere that keeps conversations flowing between shots. The room comfortably holds up to 50 guests across its industrial-style interior, where exposed metalwork meets warm neon accents. We've positioned two shuffleboard tables alongside the pool tables, creating natural gathering points where groups can split up for tournaments or drift between games as the mood takes them. The colourful lighting shifts subtly throughout the evening, energising the space without overwhelming it. Our bar runs the full length of one wall, stocked with local beers, carefully chosen wines, and spirits for those wanting cocktails between games. The bartenders know their way around both classic serves and contemporary mixes, while non-alcoholic options ensure everyone has something interesting in their glass. When hunger strikes, our kitchen sends out sharing platters and pizzas designed to eat standing up, pool cue still in hand. The Gallery works particularly well for team socials where people actually want to interact rather than sit at separate tables. We've hosted everything from birthday parties where the shuffleboard became an impromptu dance floor, to corporate events where the pool tables sparked conversations between departments that rarely mix. The space naturally encourages movement and mingling, with plenty of room to step back from the games and chat. Getting here couldn't be simpler, we're right in The Friary with multiple transport links nearby.
