When you book The Golden Miller, you're reserving our most versatile party space, where up to 100 guests can spread out across five shuffleboards and still have room to dance. We designed this semi-private area to give your group the energy of our main venue while keeping your celebration feeling intimate and special. The room wraps around two distinct areas connected by archways, letting your party flow naturally as the night progresses. Rich wood paneling runs along the walls, covered in vintage plates and local artwork that tells stories of Gloucestershire racing legends. Above your heads, strings of fairground bulbs pulse with the music, casting warm light across the shuffleboard tables where your guests will compete and laugh. You'll find Ivy, our beloved fairground horse, watching over the festivities from her corner perch, a conversation starter that never fails to charm first-time visitors. We've arranged comfortable seating throughout both sections, mixing high tables for standing drinks with cozy corners where small groups can chat away from the action. The shuffleboards themselves become natural gathering points, each one drawing clusters of players and spectators as tournaments develop organically through the evening. Our flatscreen TVs can display anything from birthday montages to company presentations, while the sound system fills the space without overwhelming conversation. Our kitchen keeps the party fueled with sharing platters and those famous sourdough pizzas that arrive hot between games.
