The Great Nave rises before you like something from another era, all soaring Neo-Gothic arches and intricate stonework that Edward Welby Pugin would surely still recognise. We've hosted everything from elaborate wedding receptions to corporate galas in this extraordinary space, and each time, guests stop mid-conversation to look up at those towering ceilings. Walking the length of the nave, you'll notice how the stained glass windows throw jewel-coloured light across the floor, shifting throughout the day. We can seat 400 for dining or welcome up to 429 guests for standing receptions, and the acoustics, shaped by centuries of sacred music, now carry wedding vows and celebration toasts with equal clarity. Our technical setup might surprise you in a building this historic. The PA system handles everything from background music to full presentations, while our lighting can transform the space from bright and welcoming to atmospheric and intimate.
