Exposed oak beams run the length of our Pennine Suite ceiling, each one a reminder of Tankersley Manor's 17th-century bones. We've watched countless celebrations unfold beneath them, from wedding ceremonies bathed in Yorkshire sunlight to milestone birthdays that dance long into the evening. The suite sits in our main building, where original wooden floors meet contemporary comfort in a space that works as hard as you need it to. Those large windows and skylights we installed do more than frame countryside views, they flood the room with natural light that photographers adore and party planners praise. We can accommodate 70 guests theatre-style, though most weddings opt for our banquet setup serving 60, leaving room for that all-important dance floor. For cocktail receptions, we've comfortably hosted 70 standing guests, with enough space for mingling between the bar and buffet stations. Air conditioning keeps summer celebrations comfortable, while our heating ensures winter weddings feel cosy despite December's bite.
