Three floors up in our converted factory building, Studio 1 opens up as an expansive creative playground where North London's performers come to work their magic. This 38' x 45' room has become the go-to space for full cast rehearsals and dance companies who need proper room to move. The sprung wooden floors have saved countless dancers' joints during intensive rehearsal periods, while floor-to-ceiling mirrors line the walls, giving performers complete visibility of their movements. Natural light streams through the original factory windows, creating that perfect atmosphere photographers chase for their shoots. We've watched choreographers spend weeks here developing new pieces, taking advantage of the space to really explore their creative vision. Our sound system connects directly to your devices, so whether you're running a dance workshop or hosting a creative gathering, your music fills the room exactly as you need it. The air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable through summer intensives and winter rehearsals alike. When casting directors book Studio 1 for auditions, they often comment on how the natural light and spacious layout helps them see performers at their best. The minimalist white walls mean you're working with a blank canvas, perfect for transforming the space to match your event's mood.
