The Paddock Our wooden tables spread across the lawn have witnessed countless summer celebrations, from milestone birthdays to anniversary parties where 150 guests danced barefoot on the grass until midnight. We've positioned them perfectly to catch the dappled sunlight filtering through our mature trees, creating natural shade pockets where conversations flow as freely as the drinks from our outdoor bar. The Surrey countryside wraps around The Paddock like a natural amphitheatre, giving your party that wonderful sense of being away from it all whilst our 16th-century barn provides the most photogenic backdrop. We can accommodate up to 100 seated guests comfortably, though many prefer the relaxed atmosphere of standing celebrations where people mingle between the bar, BBQ station, and those inviting clusters of chairs we scatter about. Our chefs love firing up the BBQ for Paddock parties, sending the aroma of grilling meats across the lawn, or we can arrange a proper hog roast that becomes the talking point of the afternoon. The outdoor bar stocks everything from local Surrey ales to cocktails mixed with fresh herbs from our garden, and we've noticed how guests gravitate there as the natural meeting point before spreading out across the grass. As evening approaches, we string lights between the trees, transforming the space into something rather magical. The barn's timber frame glows golden in the sunset, and there's plenty of room for a band or DJ to set up near the lawn's edge. Many parties end with impromptu dancing under the stars, shoes abandoned somewhere near the bar. You'll find us on Tandridge Lane in Blindley Heath, with the bus stop just around the corner connecting to Lingfield and beyond.
