We open our entire palace and 14 acres of RHS Partner Gardens exclusively to you and your guests, creating that private stately home experience many dream of for their wedding or grand celebration. Our versatile spaces flow naturally from intimate to grand. The Undercroft's vaulted ceilings and candlelit stone arches create an atmospheric setting where we can arrange wooden banqueting tables for 60 to 108 guests. Picture your wedding breakfast here, with soft candlelight dancing off ancient walls while your guests feast in true medieval style. For larger gatherings, our Conference Room opens directly onto formal gardens through tall arched windows, flooding the space with natural light. We can seat up to 200 guests here, with round tables dressed in crisp linens and your chosen florals. Your exclusive hire includes our more intimate Stableyard Room too, perfect as a quiet preparation space for your wedding party or for smaller groups of up to 30. We've equipped all our spaces with modern amenities including Wi-Fi and presentation facilities, seamlessly blending historic character with contemporary comfort. Our award-winning catering team sources ingredients from local suppliers, crafting menus from elegant garden canapés to full medieval-style banquets. We can arrange for musicians to perform beside the moat, their melodies drifting across the water as your guests arrive over our ancient drawbridge.
