The mahogany bar curves through our entire venue, where cocktails flow beneath the glow of Edison bulbs and exposed brick walls tell stories of Birmingham nights. Here at RumRum in the Arcadian Centre, we've watched countless celebrations unfold across our 400-person capacity space, from 30th birthday bashes that take over the dance floor to corporate parties spreading through our booth areas. Our ground floor opens up completely when you book the whole venue, giving your guests freedom to move between the main bar, curved booth seating, and that outdoor garden area we've created under strings of lights. Groups love how the space works for different moments throughout the night, starting with cocktails at high tables on our artificial grass terrace, then moving inside as our DJ booth comes alive with R&B and Afrobeats that pull everyone onto the floor. We've hosted everything from wedding after-parties where 100 guests sat down for dinner before dancing until 3am, to product launches that used our neon-lit walls as backdrops for photos. The rich wood furnishings and plush red seating create pockets where groups naturally gather, while our bartenders keep the drinks flowing from their spot behind that long mahogany counter. Our sound system reaches every corner without overwhelming conversation early in the evening, then transforms the space into a proper nightclub as the night builds. For seated events, we arrange tables for up to 100 diners, with our team handling everything from welcome drinks to bottle service packages. The outdoor section works brilliantly for arrival drinks, with murals and greenery creating an unexpected garden feel right in Birmingham's nightlife district. Just steps from Hurst Street's bars and restaurants, with plenty of transport links nearby, your guests can easily continue their night or head home when they're ready.
