The Thames Suite welcomes up to 250 guests for receptions or 180 for seated dinners in a space where the River Thames becomes part of your celebration. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the water and our 25 acres of grounds, transforming throughout the day as light shifts across the gardens. We've hosted everything here, from corporate awards dinners where CEOs gave speeches with the river as backdrop, to wedding receptions that spilled onto our private terrace at sunset. The wooden floors gleam under crystal chandeliers, while our neutral palette means your chosen colours and flowers take centre stage. Tables dressed in crisp linens can be configured for banquets, cabaret style, or cleared entirely for dancing. Our audio-visual setup disappears when not needed, with a data projector and large screen ready for presentations or photo montages. The full-function bar keeps drinks flowing, staffed by our team who know when to suggest champagne on the terrace or coffee service inside. That dance floor we mentioned? It's proper sprung flooring, kind to feet after hours of celebration. Step through the glass doors onto our sun-deck, where reception drinks happen with tennis courts visible to one side, the river to the other. Wedding photographers particularly love the golden hour here, when the Thames catches the light. Corporate groups often start with welcome drinks outside before moving in for dinner. Getting here takes just over a kilometre from Teddington station, close enough for London guests but far enough to feel like somewhere special. Our kitchen brigade handles dietary requirements without fuss, whether serving canapés for 250 or a five-course dinner for 180.
