The Long Room carries the same Victorian charm that runs through our entire pub, with its dark, richly painted walls creating an intimate atmosphere for private dining. Up on the first floor, you'll find this versatile space where we've hosted everything from milestone birthday dinners to working lunches that actually get work done. Twenty-four guests can gather around our long wooden table, or we can accommodate up to 50 for standing receptions. The upholstered chairs, each with their own intricate pattern, add character without sacrificing comfort during those longer meals. Above the decorative fireplace, a gold-framed mirror catches the natural light streaming through our arched windows, which frame views of the neighbourhood below while keeping your gathering feeling wonderfully secluded. We've equipped The Long Room with its own private bar, so your group won't need to venture downstairs for refills. The space comes with superfast WiFi, a TV with all necessary cables, plus paper and pens for those who need them. Having dedicated toilets on the same level means your guests can move freely without navigating through the main pub. Our kitchen serves the same British classics with modern touches that we're known for downstairs, from that gluten-free cider-battered haddock to our proper Sunday roasts. The private bar stocks our full range of craft beers, signature cocktails, and yes, our extensive gin collection that gives us our nickname.
