The Ballroom at Hatfield Place transforms from morning conference to evening celebration with the kind of grace only Georgian architecture can provide. Silk drapes in soft grey frame tall windows that overlook our manicured gardens, while original chandeliers cast patterns across the polished floor. We've hosted everything here from intimate wedding breakfasts to champagne receptions, and the room adapts beautifully each time. Those windows are the real stars during daytime ceremonies, flooding the space with natural light that photographers absolutely love. Come evening, we dim the chandeliers and suddenly you're dining in pure romance, with the fireplace crackling and candles reflecting off the crystal. The room comfortably seats 50 for wedding breakfasts, though we can accommodate 60 for drinks receptions when you want everyone mingling. For wedding ceremonies, we can arrange theatre-style seating for 30 guests, creating an intimate atmosphere perfect for exchanging vows. The cabaret layout works wonderfully for 30 when you want round tables with a dance floor, while the U-shaped configuration for 20 suits those planning interactive celebrations or family-style dining. Our catering team serves seasonal menus right here in the Ballroom, with full bar service throughout your celebration. The sound system handles everything from ceremony music to party playlists, and we have screens available if you're planning video tributes or presentations during speeches. The adjoining garden terrace offers a lovely spot for pre-ceremony drinks or evening air, while our reception hall provides the perfect welcome space. With 14 guest rooms upstairs and parking for 120 cars, your wedding party can relax knowing everyone's looked after.
