The industrial heartbeat of Manchester comes alive at Freight Island, where six interconnected spaces sprawl across Depot Mayfield's historic railway arches. When you book our Entire Venue, you're taking over every corner of this transformed freight depot, from The Ticket Hall's soaring ceilings to the intimate nooks of The Viewing Gallery. The Ticket Hall anchors the experience with its commanding stage, multiple bars, and giant LED screen that bathes the space in whatever mood you're creating. Those original steel beams and exposed brick walls frame up to 2,000 standing guests or 1,200 seated, while colorful translucent panels catch the light from our disco ball overhead. We configure the space however works best, whether that's theatre-style rows for presentations, cabaret tables for gala dinners, or wide open for dancing until dawn. Beyond The Ticket Hall, each area brings its own character. The Platform suits more focused gatherings, The Club Container pumps out bass-heavy beats, and The Viewing Gallery offers elevated perspectives over the action below. Outside, our covered terraces come equipped with their own bars and DJ box, where industrial architecture meets festival vibes under strings of lights. Food transforms any event here. Ornella's serves proper Sicilian pasta, Morejoy's skewers fill the air with smoke and spice, while Gooey's NYC-style cookies and Hello Dezato's East Asian desserts keep energy high.
