The Barn sits just behind the main pub building, connected by a covered walkway that keeps you dry even on the wettest days. This modern extension feels completely different from our 15th-century pub, yet somehow fits perfectly into the setting. We've kept the design simple and contemporary, with exposed wooden beams running across the ceiling and large windows that frame views of our gardens. During daylight hours, natural light pours through those windows, catching the warm wood tones of the furniture. Come evening, our dimmable lighting creates whatever mood you're after, from bright and cheerful for birthday parties to something more subtle for anniversary dinners. The space comfortably holds 40 guests seated around tables, or we can clear the floor for up to 80 people at standing receptions. We dress the room according to your event. For sit-down meals, we set up round tables with crisp white linens and simple floral arrangements. The wooden chairs have padded seats, and we can add cushioned benches along the walls for extra comfort. Our heating system runs throughout the year, keeping everyone comfortable whether it's a frosty December evening or a surprisingly chilly April afternoon. The Barn has hosted every kind of celebration imaginable. Corporate teams book it for away days and presentations, families gather here for milestone birthdays, and we've seen plenty of engagement parties spill out onto the adjoining patio when the weather cooperates. Our kitchen serves the same fresh, locally-sourced menu here as in the main restaurant, with buffet options available if you prefer a more relaxed format. Getting here couldn't be easier. We're right on The Green in Datchet village, three miles from Windsor Castle, with regular buses stopping practically outside. The space has full wheelchair access, and our team handles all the setup, leaving you free to enjoy your event.
