Iron pillars frame your entrance to the Main Bar Area, where original brewery floors meet exposed wooden beams overhead. This is The Caley Sample Room at its most characteristic, a space where 200 guests can gather for drinks or 180 can sit down to dinner without losing the intimate feel that makes parties here memorable. Our bar runs along one wall, circular shelves behind it displaying whisky bottles that catch the light from our mix of chandeliers and pendant fixtures. Eight real ale taps stand ready alongside 12 others pouring craft beers and international favorites, while our rum and gin collections keep cocktail enthusiasts exploring. The wooden tables and chairs throughout can be arranged however suits your event, whether you need cabaret seating for 100 or prefer to keep things flowing for a standing reception. Large-screen TVs and projector screens sit ready for celebration videos or presentations, while our PA system handles everything from background music to full live bands. The acoustics in this old brewery space add warmth to speeches and depth to performances. Our kitchen team works just steps away, preparing Scottish pub classics and handling dietary requirements with equal care, ensuring gluten-free and vegan guests eat as well as everyone else. The back bar naturally becomes its own zone during busier events, giving groups space to catch up away from the main action. Families with children are welcome until 9pm, dogs too, and we've seen plenty of four-legged guests steal the show at birthday parties.
