Former church windows flood our space with Yorkshire daylight, casting patterns across the original stone walls where hymns once echoed. We've kept the soaring ceilings and architectural bones of this Swinegate landmark, but transformed it into something altogether more spirited. Our ground floor pulses around the central island bar, where bartenders craft cocktails beneath the very beams that once sheltered Sunday services. When you hire our entire venue, both floors become your playground. The main level accommodates 300 guests mingling with drinks in hand, or we can arrange seating for 200 if you prefer a formal dinner setup. Our mezzanine Garden Grill adds another dimension, where trailing plants cascade between tables and create intimate pockets perfect for conversation. Groups often gravitate between the two levels throughout the evening, cocktails downstairs, quieter moments above. Our kitchen team serves everything from premium Yorkshire steaks to creative plant-based dishes, all prepared in-house.
