Our Drawing Room carries all the grace of Victorian entertaining, with that particular warmth that makes guests immediately feel at home. We've watched countless celebrations unfold here, from wedding breakfasts where champagne toasts echo beneath the crystal chandelier to afternoon teas that stretch into evening conversations. The room works beautifully for different occasions. We can arrange seating for 40 guests at round tables dressed in crisp white linens, each topped with fresh flowers that complement the room's rose-toned palette. For drinks receptions, we open up the space to welcome 50 guests, who often gravitate towards the windows to admire the view of Kingston Parade below. Business gatherings appreciate the flexibility too - we configure the room for 40 in theatre style when presentations are needed, or create a more intimate boardroom setting for 25. Original features tell their own stories throughout the space. The intricate patterned carpet, woven in deep jewel tones, has cushioned the footsteps of party guests for generations. That grand chandelier above? It's witnessed everything from birthday celebrations to anniversary dinners, casting its warm light across the room as daylight fades. The decorative furnishings, carefully chosen to reflect the building's Victorian heritage, include plush seating areas where guests naturally gather during receptions. Practical needs haven't been forgotten amid all this history. We've installed high-speed Wi-Fi throughout and can set up our projector and screen for presentations without disrupting the room's character. Our position within the Roman Baths & Pump Room complex means you're right in Bath's historic heart, with excellent transport connections for your guests.
