The Ground Floor at Sunny Art Centre welcomes you with brilliant blue walls that make the artwork pop like nowhere else in Holborn. We've designed this 500-square-foot space to feel intimate yet open, where up to 30 guests can celebrate surrounded by carefully curated paintings, sculptures, and ceramics that change with our rotating exhibitions. Natural light pours through our large street-facing windows during daytime events, casting beautiful shadows across the sculptures on their pedestals and bringing out subtle details in the paintings. When evening falls, our lighting system transforms the space, creating pools of warm light that draw your guests from one artwork to another. The reception area by the staircase serves as a natural greeting point, where we often see hosts welcoming arrivals before they descend to explore the larger lower ground floor. We've found this room works brilliantly for pre-dinner drinks or as a breakout space during larger events. The art creates natural gathering spots, with guests gravitating towards pieces that catch their eye, smartphones coming out for photos against the blue walls. Our sound system provides crystal-clear audio whether you need background music or want to make a toast, and the projector and screen tuck away discreetly when not needed. The flexible layout means we can arrange seating for an intimate banquet or clear the floor for cocktail-style mingling. Just steps from Chancery Lane Underground Station, your guests find us easily, arriving ready to experience something different from the usual party venues. Product launches particularly shine here, where the creative atmosphere gets people talking and thinking differently, while birthday celebrations take on an extra sophistication when champagne glasses clink next to contemporary sculptures.
