At our venue, the Barnaby room opens straight onto the gardens through its glass walls, creating an indoor-outdoor flow that works brilliantly for productive meetings. Natural light pours in from both the glazed walls and ceiling, keeping everyone alert during those long strategy sessions or training days. We've hosted everything from board meetings to product launches in this space, with room for up to 150 people standing. The flexible layout means we can arrange seating however suits your agenda, whether that's theatre-style rows for presentations, round tables for workshops, or a more relaxed setup for creative brainstorming. The draped fabric ceiling softens the acoustics, so voices carry clearly without echo, while the floral arrangements we refresh weekly add life without being distracting. During breaks, delegates tend to spill out into our 12-acre gardens through the direct access doors. It's particularly effective for clearing heads between sessions or continuing conversations in a more relaxed setting. The room sits in the newer part of our property, combining modern facilities with views across to the original 16th-century building. Wansford village location puts us within easy reach of the A1, with medieval Stamford just minutes away for those arriving by train. Many groups appreciate being able to walk to local pubs for informal evening discussions, or along the River Nene that runs through our grounds. The Barnaby works equally well for corporate training days, team meetings, or larger conferences.
