Our Manor Room brings together centuries of history with everything you need for productive meetings. The original Jacobean windows flood the space with natural light throughout the day, while crystal chandeliers overhead add character without being overpowering. We've kept the warm wooden floors and classic artwork that give the room its distinctive atmosphere, finding that groups work better in spaces with genuine personality rather than bland corporate settings. The room comfortably handles different meeting formats. For board meetings, we can seat 44 around tables, while classroom-style presentations work well for 36 delegates. Theatre arrangements accommodate up to 100 people, and U-shaped configurations suit 46 participants perfectly. The neutral wall colours and mirrors create an airy feel that prevents the space from feeling cramped, even at full capacity. What makes the Manor Room particularly effective is how it combines period features with practical functionality. The large windows mean you rarely need artificial lighting during daytime sessions, and the proportions of the room create excellent acoustics for presentations. We've positioned the room to take advantage of views across our 240-acre parkland, giving delegates something pleasant to look at during thinking breaks. Groups often comment on how the historical details, from the ornate ceiling work to the carefully chosen artwork, create talking points that help break the ice at the start of sessions. The space works equally well for formal presentations, creative workshops, or strategic planning days. Being part of our 17th-century manor house, yet just 10 minutes from Bath and 20 minutes from Bristol via the M4, the Manor Room offers that rare combination of accessibility and escape from everyday office environments. *Please note: Our venue ceased operations on October 1, 2024.*
