The Wash House Café Annexe offers our most flexible meeting configuration, with soundproofed folding doors that transform one generous space into three intimate rooms when you need breakout sessions or smaller group work. We've found this particularly useful for training workshops where delegates split into teams of 10, then reconvene in the full space that seats 50 theatre-style or 25 around boardroom tables. The soft blue walls display rotating artwork from local artists, creating a more engaging backdrop than typical corporate meeting rooms. We've draped the tables in deep blue cloths that complement the black chairs, while the original wooden floors bring warmth to what was once part of our Victorian building's working quarters. The folding doors serve double duty as whiteboards, so you can sketch ideas and leave them visible throughout your session. Being right next to our café means your group can grab fresh coffee or tea without missing important discussions, and we often bring lunch directly to the room between noon and 2:15pm. The soundproofing keeps café noise from disrupting presentations, though some groups enjoy the gentle background hum during networking breaks. Natural daylight streams in, supplemented by adjustable lighting for presentations on our projector and screen setup. Westminster and St James's Park stations both sit within a 10-minute walk, with Victoria Station about 15 minutes away on foot. Our ground floor location provides full disabled access throughout. We typically offer morning sessions from 9am to 12:30pm, afternoon slots from 1:30pm to 5pm, and evening bookings from 6pm to 9pm, though we can arrange earlier or later access for an additional charge. Recent groups have appreciated our flexibility in accommodating last-minute bookings, with our team working to ensure everything runs smoothly despite the occasional warm day when the room heats up.
