About Boot
10 Boardroom
The Boot room puts ten people around our striking red boardroom table, where important decisions get made every day. You'll find us on the lower floor, away from the bustle above, in what many clients tell us is the perfect spot for confidential discussions and focused strategy sessions. We've kept the original Art Deco features from when The Sun newspaper occupied this building, mixing them with the technology your team needs today. The LED screen connects instantly to your devices with one-click sharing, while the writable wall runs the full length of the room for mapping out ideas. Those minimalist typographical designs on the walls aren't just decoration, they're a nod to Fleet Street's printing press heritage that seems to inspire creative thinking in our guests. The beige chairs might look plush, but they're chosen specifically for all-day comfort during intensive workshops. While natural light doesn't reach this particular room, we've installed warm lighting that keeps everyone alert without the harsh glare you sometimes get in basement spaces. The high-speed WiFi handles multiple devices streaming presentations simultaneously, something our tech company clients particularly appreciate. Java Java, our ground-floor café, delivers directly to the Boot room. Felix and his team know exactly what groups need at different times of day, from strong Union Coffee in the morning to their flatbread selection at lunch. The building layout takes some getting used to, so just ask at reception for directions on your first visit. Four major stations sit within walking distance: St Paul's, Chancery Lane, Holborn, and Blackfriars. Many groups arriving from different locations find this central position works perfectly. The room suits presentations, team meetings, and workshop sessions where you need everyone engaged around one table without distractions.

The room was great and Zipcube were very helpful but the staff at the venue were clueless and it was difficult to get everything set up

This room is not great. It’s noisy - not sure where it comes from (above I think). The lighting is poor for a meeting space, not great for a full day event. The temperature was difficult to get right.

We did love Felix & the catering team at Java Java who were excellent ...

Great little room, exactly what I needed. Building was easy to find. Had a little bother with the keypad at first and there was nobody on reception but I got sorted by a nice lady on the phone so it was all fine. Will definitely use again.

Convenient, easy to access, helpful staff.

The room was cold, the TV/screen didn't work with the correct plug so they had to come and stretch another lead across the space where I was presenting. All the corridors had reently been refurbihsed so there was plastic sheeting everywhere. There was no natural light. ...
