The Anvil room brings together twelve people around our substantial wooden table, where some of our building's best original features create the backdrop for focused work sessions. Those exposed brick walls you see have been here since this was a furniture factory, and we've kept the industrial ceiling with its visible ductwork - it's these authentic details that make meetings here feel different from the usual corporate boardroom. Natural light pours through the large window, filling the space throughout the day. We've paired this with modern LED lighting fixtures that keep everything bright when you're working into the evening. The sleek black chairs around the table are chosen for comfort during those longer strategy sessions, and there's plenty of space for everyone to spread out their materials. For presentations and remote collaboration, we've installed a large LED screen with full video conferencing capabilities. The system is straightforward - plug in your laptop and you're ready to connect with team members anywhere. The writable board gets plenty of use during brainstorming sessions, and the AV technology handles everything from client pitches to training workshops. Our venue sits right in the creative heart of Hackney, with Mare Street's independent cafés and shops just outside when you need a break between sessions. The area is well-connected by bus routes along Mare Street, and both London Fields and Hackney Central stations are within walking distance. The Anvil works particularly well for board meetings, team planning sessions, and collaborative workshops.
