The Southwest Room works brilliantly for groups who need space to think and collaborate. We've set it up with black leather chairs and light wooden tables that our team can arrange however suits your meeting—whether that's boardroom style for 20, classroom setup for 18, or theatre configuration when you need to present to 50 people. Our facilities team has equipped the room with everything you need to run effective sessions. A ceiling-mounted projector connects easily to laptops, displaying clearly on the dropdown screen. Flipcharts stand ready in the corners, and we've covered the walls with whiteboards—you'd be surprised how often groups fill every inch during strategy sessions. The neutral colours and clean lines help people focus, while the leather chairs stay comfortable even during day-long workshops. What makes this room particularly effective is how it sits within our wider campus. During breaks, your participants can step outside onto 37 acres of parkland, grab coffee from our dining room, or take a quick walk along the nature trails. We're only two miles from Oxford city centre, yet the setting feels completely removed from urban distractions. Free parking makes arrival simple, and if anyone's coming by train, we're well connected to the rail network. Our kitchen team prepares lunch and refreshments using ingredients from local suppliers—they've won awards for their cooking, though we measure success by how energised groups feel after the lunch break. For multi-day sessions, we have 63 ensuite bedrooms across the campus, each with a proper desk, TV, and tea-making facilities. The Southwest Room hosts board meetings, training programmes, and team workshops throughout the year.
