The Thomas Wright Room greets you with sunlight streaming through tall Georgian windows, illuminating the intricate herringbone parquet beneath your feet. We've preserved every detail of this original 1767 space, from the working fireplace that adds warmth to winter meetings to the views across our two-acre gardens that seem to bring the outside in. This is where our most productive meetings happen. The room comfortably seats 30 around the boardroom table, though we can reconfigure for theatre-style presentations for up to 50, or clear the space entirely for 60-guest receptions. The natural light changes throughout the day, creating different moods, morning sessions feel energised, afternoon meetings more contemplative, especially when you catch sight of the gardens through those grand windows. We've equipped the room with everything modern meetings require: reliable Wi-Fi, projection facilities, flipcharts, and PA systems. The neutral walls work beautifully for presentations or as a backdrop for the art exhibitions we sometimes host here. West Dulwich station is a short walk away, and we have parking spaces available on-site, making arrival straightforward for your guests. What makes the Thomas Wright Room particularly effective for meetings is its balance of formality and comfort. The Georgian proportions command attention without feeling intimidating, while the garden views provide natural break points during longer sessions. Ground floor access means everyone can participate comfortably.
