The Elton room takes its name from the nearby village, continuing our tradition of honouring local heritage in each of our meeting spaces. This boardroom accommodates 14 colleagues around an impressive oval table, where morning light streams through tall windows overlooking our conservation parkland. We've furnished the room with ergonomic chairs that keep everyone comfortable during those crucial strategy sessions. The rich wood panelling creates an atmosphere of quiet authority, while the patterned carpet absorbs sound to maintain privacy for sensitive discussions. A chandelier provides gentle illumination when afternoon meetings run late, complementing the natural daylight that fills the space throughout most of the day. Your presentations come to life on the flat-screen TV mounted at the perfect viewing height, and we keep a flip chart ready for those moments when ideas need to flow freely onto paper. The traditional décor, complete with elegant drapes framing each window, helps participants feel grounded and focused rather than distracted by unnecessary modern flourishes. Many teams tell us they appreciate the view across our 20 acres of grounds, particularly during breaks when a quick walk helps clear minds before returning to important decisions. The room's position within our 17th-century manor house means solid walls ensure complete discretion, while the heritage surroundings add gravitas to board meetings and senior leadership gatherings.
