Tucked away on the first floor of the Crusaders Bar & Lounge, the Gallery (Semi-Private) offers something rather special for smaller gatherings. Original exposed wooden beams stretch overhead, their centuries-old timber telling stories of the building's 15th-century origins, while stone walls create an atmosphere that's both historic and surprisingly intimate. We've designed this space around a polished wooden table that seats 12 comfortably in boardroom style, with plush upholstered chairs that encourage longer sessions without the usual conference room fatigue. When you need a change of pace, there are cozy seating areas with colourful cushions where conversations can continue more informally. The high, vaulted ceilings and soft lighting work together to create an environment that feels both grand and welcoming. Natural light filters through throughout the day, offering glimpses of our hotel entrance below, while the semi-private nature means you maintain focus without feeling completely cut off. For standing receptions, we can accommodate up to 20 guests, or arrange U-shaped seating for 12 when you need everyone facing forward. Our venue sits alongside the River Thames, with Oxford city centre easily accessible yet far enough away to avoid the usual urban distractions. Free parking removes one more concern from your planning, and our location means your attendees can actually find us without wrestling with city traffic.
