Our Drake Room brings together Victorian character with modern meeting essentials in a space that feels both professional and comfortable. The rich wooden furniture and traditional carved cabinet at the front create an atmosphere where serious discussions happen naturally, while the plush red cushioned seating keeps everyone comfortable during longer sessions. We've configured this room to work brilliantly for groups of up to 16 people in theatre style, or 12 around our boardroom setup. The intimate scale means everyone can see and hear clearly, whether you're running a training workshop, hosting a board meeting, or leading a team presentation. Our 42-inch screen connects seamlessly with your devices, and the AV facilities handle everything from PowerPoint presentations to video conferences without fuss. The warm, neutral tones throughout the room help maintain focus, while thoughtful touches like the potted greenery create a more relaxed environment than typical corporate spaces. Though the Drake Room doesn't have windows, we've designed the lighting to keep energy levels up throughout your session, avoiding that afternoon slump that can derail productive meetings. Being just 50 yards from Plymouth Sound means your attendees can step outside for some fresh sea air during breaks, while our location near Plymouth city centre makes arrival simple whether they're coming by train, bus, or car. We offer some on-site parking on a first-come basis, with plenty of street parking options nearby. The Drake Room works particularly well when combined with our other facilities. Your group can use our guest lounges for breakout discussions, grab refreshments from our tea and coffee stations, or continue conversations over lunch in our breakfast room.
