Our first-floor Learning Suite overlooks the peaceful garden where Anna Freud once tended her plants, offering a meeting space unlike any other in London. The replica of Freud's psychoanalytic couch, draped in those distinctive patterned textiles, creates an immediate talking point when your delegates arrive. We've watched countless presentations spark into deeper discussions simply because of where they're taking place. The room handles up to 25 people theatre-style, though we find groups of 18 in classroom layout or 12 around the boardroom table work particularly well with the space. Our 55" LED display connects easily to laptops, and we keep flip charts ready for those breakthrough moments that need capturing. The wooden desk beneath the screen provides a natural focal point for speakers, while the framed photographs and glass display case of artifacts remind everyone they're working in rooms where psychoanalytic history was made. Light pours through the large window, and we can adjust the curtains throughout the day to manage both brightness and privacy. The view over the garden seems to help people think more clearly, especially during those intensive workshop sessions. Many groups take their coffee breaks on the landing or pop downstairs to see the study where Freud actually worked. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with Finchley Road and Swiss Cottage stations both just a short walk away. The residential streets of Hampstead provide a calm contrast to central London, yet you're still completely connected to the transport network. We've hosted everything from academic seminars to corporate strategy sessions, and each group seems to find the historical setting adds something valuable to their discussions. The combination of modern meeting facilities within these preserved rooms creates an environment where ideas flow differently than they would in a conventional conference space.
