The Newton room puts 24 people around one long table in what used to be part of the old Wilsons Brewery. We've kept the original brickwork from the 1880s, which gives the space more character than your typical boardroom. Natural light fills the room through the large windows, and we've positioned the light wood table to make the most of it. The black chairs are comfortable enough for those longer strategy sessions, and there's plenty of elbow room for everyone to spread out their notes and laptops. We've added some plants to break up the corporate feel – they're real ones that our team actually waters. The presentation screen at the head of the table connects easily to laptops, and we've made sure the sightlines work from every seat. The room handles everything from quarterly reviews to client pitches, though most teams book it for their regular planning meetings. One group uses it every Tuesday for their project updates because they like how the natural light helps keep everyone alert during afternoon sessions. Our venue sits two miles northeast of Manchester centre, right off the A62. The number 83 bus stops outside our door, and both Central Park and Monsall tram stops are a five-minute walk away. We've got plenty of secure parking if you're driving – no hunting for spaces or feeding meters. The café downstairs does proper coffee and decent sandwiches, which saves your team disappearing for lunch. There's a communal kitchen on this floor with a fridge and microwave if you've brought your own food. Our management team works on-site weekdays, so if the Wi-Fi plays up or you need extra chairs, someone's here to sort it.
