The Champagne Charlie room captures everything that makes our venue special, with exposed brick walls that tell stories from over a century ago. We've carefully preserved the vintage posters and artwork that line these walls, creating an atmosphere where history meets modern functionality for groups of up to 20 people. This first-floor space served as our staff offices for decades before we transformed it into one of our most characterful meeting rooms. During recent restoration work, we discovered something remarkable: a rear window that had been hidden for over 100 years. Now restored, it floods the room with natural light and offers an unexpected architectural feature, a view stretching from the basement right up to our newly installed roof skylight. The original wooden floors creak gently underfoot, adding to the authentic character that makes working here feel different from typical meeting spaces. We've furnished the room with rustic pieces that complement the historic setting while ensuring comfort for full-day sessions. Whether you arrange the space boardroom-style for strategy meetings, classroom layout for training sessions, or cabaret style for creative workshops, the room adapts to your needs. All the practical elements are here: Wi-Fi throughout, a projector for presentations, PA system for clear audio, and a whiteboard for brainstorming. The natural daylight makes it particularly pleasant for daytime meetings, though the warm lighting creates an equally inviting atmosphere for evening gatherings. Getting here couldn't be easier, with Tower Gateway Station just a short walk away.
