Room 1 brings together everything we've learned from conducting thousands of research sessions over the years. The space centres around a solid wooden table surrounded by our signature collection of patterned armchairs, each one carefully chosen for comfort during those longer focus groups and workshops that can stretch through the afternoon. Behind the one-way mirror, your observation team has plenty of room to watch proceedings unfold. We've positioned the large flat-screen TV where everyone can see it clearly, whether you're sharing stimulus materials, presenting findings, or running through discussion guides. The flip chart stands ready for those moments when digital just won't do, particularly useful during brainstorming sessions when participants need to map out ideas together. Natural light streams through our tall windows throughout the day, keeping the energy up without the harsh glare that disrupts recordings. The original fireplace, now purely decorative with its collection of vases, adds character to the space while our climate control keeps everyone comfortable regardless of the weather outside. We've tested the acoustics extensively, ensuring every comment gets captured clearly on our recording systems. The room works brilliantly for various group sizes. We can accommodate 24 people theatre-style when you need everyone facing forward, or the same number for networking receptions when movement and mingling matter more. For typical focus groups, the current furniture arrangement comfortably seats 8-10 participants with moderator. Our venue sits right in Marylebone's research hub, with both Marble Arch and Baker Street stations just minutes away on foot. Participants find us easily, arrive on time, and settle into sessions quickly.
