Our Victorian courthouse still carries the gravitas of its judicial past, with original wood paneling that has witnessed countless deliberations since the 1800s. The Old Courtroom sits directly across from the Royal Pavilion Estate, where your attendees can wander through the gardens during lunch or pop into Brighton Museum between sessions. High arched windows run along the walls, filling the space with natural light that plays across the warm wooden floors throughout the day. We've installed modern retractable tiered seating in deep blue that accommodates 150 people for presentations, though we regularly reconfigure the space, 50 works beautifully in cabaret style when delegates need table space for workshops, or 30 for more intimate boardroom discussions. The acoustics surprise first-time visitors, Victorian builders knew their craft, and voices carry clearly without amplification, though we've added a professional sound system for larger gatherings. Our projection screen dominates the front wall, connecting easily to laptops, while reliable Wi-Fi covers every corner of the building. The air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable even when we're at full capacity on warm summer afternoons. Morning training sessions flow into afternoon lectures here, and we've hosted evening panel discussions that spill into networking receptions. The space handles 120 guests comfortably for standing events, and our approved caterers navigate the historic corridors expertly, delivering everything from working lunches to evening canapés.
