The Ardbeg room takes its name from the celebrated Islay distillery, and like its namesake, this space has real character. We've set it up around a substantial boardroom table that seats 16 comfortably, with proper elbow room for laptops, papers, and coffee cups. The proportions work particularly well for board meetings, where everyone needs to see each other clearly across the table. Morning light pours through the tall Victorian windows, which we've dressed with traditional drapes that can be drawn when you need to darken the room for presentations. The original cornicing runs around the ceiling, and we've hung carefully chosen artwork that adds personality without distraction. For those marathon planning sessions, the air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable, and the room stays remarkably quiet despite being in the heart of Glasgow's West End. We've installed everything you need for modern meetings: a projector that connects easily to laptops, a flatscreen TV for video conferences, and proper conference call facilities that actually work. The whiteboard and flipchart live permanently in the corner, ready for brainstorming sessions or quick diagrams. When configured theatre-style, we can fit 18 people, or arrange it U-shaped for 12 when you need more collaborative discussions. Our kitchen team brings fresh coffee and warm pastries throughout the day, and lunch can be anything from working sandwiches around the table to a proper three-course meal. We cater for all dietary requirements, with halal, vegan, and gluten-free options prepared by the same chefs who run our restaurant. If your meeting runs into evening, the team can set up drinks and canapés, or arrange dinner in our dining room. The room works equally well for private dinners, with space for 16 around the table. Transport links from the West End make it easy for attendees to reach us, with several bus routes nearby and Hillhead subway station within walking distance.
