The Lord Dean's Room transforms every meeting into something rather special. From the moment your delegates settle around our polished wooden table, they're surrounded by the kind of details that make conversations flow more naturally: the 1605 stained glass window telling the story of our Letter of Guildry, portraits of past merchants watching over proceedings, and that distinctive gold-patterned wallpaper that somehow makes even budget discussions feel more civilised. We've configured this room to work beautifully for groups of up to 10 people. Whether you arrange it boardroom-style for focused discussions, cabaret-style for workshop sessions, or as an intimate dinner setting for evening meetings, the space adapts without losing its character. The fireplace creates a particularly welcoming atmosphere during winter months, while those floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows flood morning meetings with coloured light that changes throughout the day. Our location directly across from Queen Street Railway Station means your attendees can step off the train and be seated within minutes. We're on the first floor of this Grade A listed Victorian building, with wheelchair access available, though some guests have mentioned the route can be a bit tight in places. We always discuss accessibility requirements beforehand to ensure everyone can participate comfortably. While the heritage features mean we can't accommodate projectors in this particular room, we can arrange a TV monitor for presentations when needed. Our team handles all the setup, and as recent guests have noted, we're particularly good at directing attendees to the right spaces and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Fresh catering arrives precisely when you need it, with menus adjusted for any dietary requirements your group might have. Every booking supports charitable causes across Glasgow and the West of Scotland, adding purpose to your productive day.

H

Fantastic venue in a great location in Central Glasgow. Staff were excellent in directing attendees and assisting with set up - would highly recommend using and will be doing so in future!

R

Access was there for W/C but with a squeeze as on 1st floor. Easier access for W/C user would have made a massive difference
