The Trafalgar Suite sits on an upper floor of our Victorian building, where original architectural details meet contemporary meeting needs. Red velvet curtains frame the tall windows that flood the space with natural light, while our restored chandelier adds character without overwhelming the room. Those historical portraits on the walls? They're conversation starters during coffee breaks, though most groups end up absorbed in their own discussions. We've configured this suite countless times for different groups. Board meetings work beautifully around the central table for up to 18, while training sessions spread comfortably across classroom-style seating for 22. Theatre layout pushes capacity to 40, though we find groups of 30 or fewer appreciate the extra breathing room. The patterned carpet absorbs sound nicely, keeping conversations contained even during breakout sessions. Technology sits ready but unobtrusive. Our projector and flatscreen TV connect easily to laptops, while the teleconferencing setup handles hybrid meetings without fuss. Wi-Fi runs fast throughout, and we keep spare chargers and adapters in the room because someone always forgets theirs. The air conditioning maintains comfort year-round, particularly appreciated during summer strategy sessions. Coffee and tea stations refresh throughout the day, with proper biscuits, not just the basic ones. Lunch can arrive as working sandwiches or something more substantial from our kitchen, with dietary requirements sorted in advance. The bar service runs until midnight if your meeting extends into evening drinks. Being next to Charing Cross Station means participants arrive easily from across London and beyond. The Strand buzzes just outside, but double glazing keeps the city noise at bay. After intensive sessions, a five-minute walk lands you in Trafalgar Square for fresh air and perspective before the journey home.
