The Canada Suite wraps around the northwest corner of our venue, where the River Mersey meets the city skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows. This corner position means you get two walls of glass, creating an almost panoramic effect that changes throughout the day as cargo ships pass and the light shifts across the water. We've arranged the room to make the most of these views, with flexible layouts that work equally well for training sessions, board meetings, or workshop discussions. The space comfortably holds 35 people theatre-style when you need everyone focused on a presentation, or we can set it boardroom-style for 22 when discussion is key. For training days, the classroom setup fits 24 with proper desk space for laptops and materials. Many groups prefer the U-shape configuration for 20, which lets everyone see both the presenter and each other, particularly useful for strategy sessions or team briefings. The built-in screen and projector eliminate the usual pre-meeting scramble for cables and connections. We've positioned these so nobody has to crane their neck or deal with glare from the windows. The neutral colour scheme and patterned carpet might sound mundane on paper, but in practice they create a calm, professional environment that doesn't distract from your content. Small touches like the potted plants near the windows add life without cluttering the space. Our Meetings Director coordinates with the kitchen team to time coffee breaks and lunches around your agenda, whether that's a working sandwich lunch in the room or a proper sit-down meal in our restaurant. The suite's proximity to our health club means delegates can squeeze in a swim or gym session between sessions, while our 159 bedrooms upstairs eliminate the morning commute for multi-day events.
