The Princess Suite combines Victorian grandeur with everything you need for a successful meeting or conference. Those original chandeliers aren't just decorative, they provide excellent lighting that our clients can adjust with dimmers to suit presentations or create the right atmosphere for different parts of your event. With capacity for up to 250 delegates theatre-style, this is one of our largest spaces, though we regularly reconfigure it for smaller groups. Corporate teams often prefer our boardroom setup for 60, which creates a more focused environment for strategic discussions. The U-shaped arrangement works particularly well for training sessions with up to 50 participants, allowing everyone clear sightlines to both the presenter and the built-in screen. The high ceilings and period moldings might catch your eye first, but it's the practical details that make meetings run smoothly here. Air conditioning keeps the temperature comfortable even when the room is at full capacity, and blackout capabilities mean presentations stay crisp and clear. Natural light streams through the large windows when you want it, perfect for energising morning sessions or workshop activities. We've equipped the Princess Suite with an LCD projector and screen as standard, plus complimentary Wi-Fi that actually handles multiple devices without dropping connection. For hybrid meetings, the room's acoustics work well with additional AV equipment, and our technical team can assist with more complex setups. The cabaret layout for 140 gives working groups their own tables while maintaining good visibility for presentations. Many clients choose this for day-long conferences where delegates need space for laptops and materials.
